LEH SRINAGAR JEEP SAFARI TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01:
Leh
On arrival in Leh Airport, our representative will receive
you and transfer you to the Hotel. Check-in the hotel. Spend
the day taking rest and adapting to the Leh Atmosphere. In
the evening you can stroll in the local markets of Leh.
Dinner and Overnight stay arranged in the hotel.
Day 02: Leh Sideseen
After leisurely breakfast, visit the Stok Palace Museum,
Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery. Later visit to shanti
stupa, Leh Palace, Sankar Gompa and the local market in Leh.
Dinner and Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
Today after breakfast, drive to Pangong Tso Lake, one of the
prominent and breathtaking lakes in the world. It lies on
the International border of China. On the way visit Chang-la
pass, world’s third highest motorable road. After
sight-seeing tour of Pangong Tso Lake get back to hotel for
dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 04: Leh - Nubra Valley
In morning after breakfast get ready to visit Nubra valley
which is populary known as ‘Valley of Flowers’ via Khardong
La Pass, world’s highest motorable road. Enjoy the
picturesque view of Sumoor and Samstaling area during drive
from Khardong La pass. Also visit Deskit and Hundar, camping
in either of these areas. Deskit has monasteries with
tallest lord Buddha statue. Hundar known for its sand dunes
and bacterian camel safari. Enjoy dinner and Overnight stay
in camp at Deskit or Hundar.
Day 05: Nubra Valley - Leh
In the morning explores the Deskit and Hunder area. Enjoy a
double- humped bacterian camel safari on sand dunes in
Hunder. In the evening drive back to Leh. Dinner and
Overnight stay in hotel at Leh.
Day 06: Leh-Alchi /
Uleytokpo: (70 kms.)
After breakfast in morning drive to the Alchi village, a
popular and oldest monastery in Leh classified by UNESCO as
world heritage site. In afternoon get back to hotel and
after lunch visit Hall of Fame, a magnificent museum
constructed by Indian army, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, built
by the Lamas of Leh to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak
Dev. Kali Mata temple, Sangam of Zanskar and Indus and Indus
rivers, here Zanskar river with darker muddy waters meets
Indus/Sindhu River with clearer bluish water and later visit
Magnetic point which defies the law of gravity. In evening
drive to Uleytokpo, a picturesque and ultimate destination
blessed with breath taking natural beauty. Dinner and
Overnight stay at hotel in Uleytokpo.
Day 07: Uleytokpo- Lamayuru - Kargil
In morning have healthy breakfast in hotel, depart from
Ulaytokpo to Kargil via Lamayuru and here explore the
Lamayuru monastery, one of the oldest and largest monastery
in Ladakh. En route to kargil have a picturesque view of
Lamayuru and Mooonland hills. On the way at Mulbek see the 9
meters tall statue of ‘Future Buddha’ Maitreya Buddha.
Dinner and Overnight stay in hotel at Kargil.
Day 08: Kargil - Sonamarg - Srinagar
In morning drive to Srinagar after a refreshing morning
Breakfast, en route cross Zoji-La Pass through Drass. Drass
is world second coldest inhabited place in the world.
Enroute visit Sonamarg, gateway to Amarnath ji Yatra is the
finest place located on the bank of River Sindh, abundant in
trout and mahseer fishes so one can enjoy angling here &
then proceed to Srinagar. Dinner and Overnight stay in
hotel.
Day 09: Departure Srinagar
After breakfast in morning at Hotel, Check out and transfer
to Srinagar Airport/ Railway station for further journey.
Tour ends... but sweet memories always remain.
